Some Panel Questions: When are businesses supposed to be CMMC compliant/certified by? At what level? At what level do prime and sub-contractors do they need to be certified at for level expectations and CUI expectations? Are there any ISO standards that a company may already have that will help them in becoming compliant with CMMC? CMMC Latest News: CMMC-AB Approves First 11 LPPs (Licensed Partner Publishers) to Deliver Certification Curriculum as of 9/10/2020
Overcoming Whispering Concerns: CMMC as it is currently being presented to the Defense Industrial Base is a mess of epic proportions and the CMMC-AB has their mind set upon a path currently that has the potential to be extremely damaging to Veteran Owned Small Business.
Veteran Owned Small Businesses will be severely disenfranchised by the current model being proposed. How many of our members can afford to drop $40-60k just to be able to bid on a solicitation?
Various agencies can’t even agree on what is and what is not CUI. For example, the Navy has a different requirement to protect the delivery of full to their ships at the harbor such as time, date, location; whereas this may not be CUI to any other organization.
