PilieroMazza is pleased to announce that Sara Nasseri has joined the Firm as an Associate in its Labor & Employment Group. Ms. Nasseri focuses her practice on advising clients on a range of workplace-related matters, including equal employment opportunity laws with a particular focus on workplace compliance laws and regulations, federal contractors’ affirmative action and non-discrimination obligations, and pay equity and systemic pay discrimination. “Our government contractor and commercial business clients will benefit from the legal and business acumen Sara brings to resolving the most nuanced labor and employment challenges,” said the Group’s Practice Chair Nichole Atallah. “We’re excited to have her on our team.”
For international clients, Ms. Nasseri offers guidance on compliance with U.S. workplace and business laws, as well as assisting U.S. employers in expanding outside the U.S.; specifically, she is well versed in legislation within the U.S. and across Europe related to workplace internal investigations, problems faced by external lawyers when conducting an internal investigation, and data privacy issues.
In 2018, Ms. Nasseri was selected to Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars list. During her time at Loyola Law School, she was a participant of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Ms. Nasseri was also on the Dean’s List and a recipient of the CALI Award in International Arbitration while at Georgetown University Law Center.
She is fluent in written and spoken Farsi, and conversational in Spanish and French.
