This topic will review basic teaming agreements, which will include performing due diligence, the mechanics of drafting a teaming agreement, the provisions that should be included, and the different perspectives of the parties. The program will specifically look at teaming partner selection and how important that selection is to protect your interest. In addition, the topic will explore specific terms to consider and which ones should be negotiated and considered to avoid enforcement issues later in the process. The program will focus on enforcement of these agreements and look at how that enforcement will impact the prime contractor and subcontractors as well as how disputes that may arise should be handled.
