Bio
Matt’s litigation practice focuses primarily on general commercial litigation matters, including representing government contractors and other businesses in contract disputes, labor and employment litigation, business-to-business transaction disputes, business torts, unfair competition, and investigations by the federal and state governments. He also counsels businesses on risk management matters to help them avoid litigation and protect their bottom line.
Before joining PilieroMazza, Matt was an associate with law firms in the Baltimore/Annapolis, Maryland region, where he handled an array of civil matters in state and federal courts and defended railroad companies against claims brought under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act. He is admitted to the state and federal courts of Maryland, as well as in the District of Columbia.
Matt received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
